Lightweight solid foam core with fiberglass reinforcements.  Designed specifically for producing lightweight skis and snowboards.  Fiberglass is oriented in the vertical direction to give optimal strength while maintaining light weight. It can be cut and profiled with standard woodworking tools. 

140mm x 15mm x 1854mm.  Each core is sized for 1 ski, You will need 2 cores for a pair. For really wide skis or snowboards, two cores can be epoxied together to make a wider core.

The unprofiled blank weighs 1kg (2.2lbs). A similar unprofiled maple blank woud be approximately 2.5kg (5.5 lbs)
